Research Integrity and Compliance Mission StatementRutgers University is committed to conducting human subject and animal research activities with the highest degree of integrity and responsibility. Research Integrity and Compliance is charged with ensuring that research activities meet ethical standards, and federal, state and University regulations and procedures. It fulfills its mission through education, compliance assessment, accreditation, and thorough protocol review. By working together with researchers, support staff, study participants, departments and agencies, a culture of compliance is fostered. In order to assist researchers navigate the necessary requirements and not impede their research, the compliance program is designed to be efficient and transparent. |
