ORSP - Limited Submission Programs

The table below lists funding programs that specify a limit on the number of applications that can be submitted by an institution.  The number of applications that can be submitted varies with program and sponsor.  Each campus, Camden, Newark, and New Brunswick, will independently review and select applicants if the limitation is per campus.  If the limitation is per university, the review and selection of applicants will be conducted on the New Brunswick campus.

Each applicant from the New Brunswick campus must submit a pre-proposal of 5 pages or less to Dr. David Pramer of ORSP by the deadline indicated in the table below. If the number of pre-proposals received by ORSP exceeds the number of applications the sponsor will accept, the ORSP will establish a faculty panel to review and advise the University which of the pre-proposals should be expanded to an application for NSF consideration.  Proposals will be evaluated based on scientific merit and conformance with University policy and sponsor’s guidelines. Applicant(s) will be notified of the university's selection by deadline below (within 2-3 weeks) of submitting their pre-proposals.  ORSP does not guarantee that all programs with limited submissions are listed in the table below.  If you find a program that is not listed below, please contact ORSP.
