Quick tips

• Tab from field to field for quicker completion.
• Select " Print to fit " when printing.
• Name your file according to this standard
  PIlast name first initial.sponsor abbreviation.uniquekeyword.duedate(yymmdd)

• Once you have a log#, rename the file changing the due date to the log#.

Step 2. Download or Purchase Adobe Acrobat.

You can download the free Adobe Acrobat Reader Ver.8.0 directly from Adobe, and use it to save partially filled endorsement form. Though this free reader 8.0 offers many more features than previous readers, you will not be able to create PDF files.

We recommend you visit MSSG and purchase Adobe Acrobat Standard 8.0 ($40). Mac users and PC users interested in high-end performance and printing should go for Adobe Acrobat Professional 8.0 ($50). You will need this full version of Acrobat to submit grant proposals electronically to sponsors.

Step 3. Install and Configure Adobe Acrobat.

Running Adobe Acrobat in your internet browser limits the features you can use and can cause problems with embedded hyperlinks and saving form data. Follow this tutorial to turn off web browser integration and use Adobe Acrobat to its full potential.

Step 4. Download a copy of the Endorsement Form Version 2.0.3 dated 05/30/07.

Keep the endorsement form on you're local hard drive so it is readily available. Right click the adobe icon and select "save target as" to save in your local drive.
