You cannot open preferences for Adobe from within Internet Explorer or Netscape, so please exit any PDFs
you are reviewing before following these instructions. We don't have
Macintosh or Unix versions of Acrobat Reader, but are willing to post
instructions for those versions.

1. Open Adobe Acrobat Reader or
Professional and go to edit from the menu bar. (Skip to step #3 by using
Control+K) 2. Click on Preferences. 3. Click on Internet from the list box. 4. Uncheck "Display PDF in Browser" 5. Click on OK to close preferences. Now when you open a PDF it will open in an Adobe Application Window and not the browser. |
