Effective February 2005, all animal protocol submissions to the Animal Care and Facilities Committee should be made through the Animal Care and Facilities
Committee Protocol Submission Website  (ACFC-PW), which can be found at http://orsp.rutgers.edu/acfc/ (tmp).  If you send a protocol to our office in a different manner, we will ask you to submit it through the website, unless there is some unusual situation.

 Advantages of using the ACFC - PSW

  Some of the key advantages of using this website are as follows:
  a.    researchers can post their protocols, continuing reviews and
        amendments, and committee members can easily review them.
  b.    the screening committee of the Animal Care and Facilities Committee
         can submit their questions and  ORSP can send these questions
        directly to the researchers, with researchers responding through the
        website and resubmitting their revised protocol.
  c.    researchers will receive automatic notification of the status of their
         protocol  as  if goes through the process.
  d.   committee members can review the revised protocols easily along
        with the questions and the answers.
  e.    approved protocols will be maintained on line for easy access.
