demonstrate the use of SPIN as well as other funding resources available on
the web. SPIN is InfoEd’s
Sponsored Programs Information
Network Each participant will create a personal profile in SPIN
and learn to perform, refine and save searches for funding programs tailored
to individual interests and needs.
SPIN is a
database of funding opportunities designed to provide up-to-date information on
current federal, non-federal, and international programs, including:
Fellowships, Research Grants, Publication Support, Sabbatical Support, RFAs (NIH
Guide), Curriculum Development, Conference Support, RFPs (Commerce Business
Daily and more. SPIN contains more that 2500 sponsoring agencies, which
together fund over 11,000 separate programs.
