Revised Categories of
Research that may be Reviewed through an Expedited Review Procedure
On November 9, 1998, a revised list that identifies certain research
activities involving human subjects that may be reviewed by the Institutional
Review Board (IRB) through the expedited review procedure was published by the
Office for Protection from Research Risks and the Food and Drug Administration.
The revised list can be
downloaded
as a WordPerfect document from or viewed as a web document at
