The Business
Manager meetings were initiated in 2003 to provide a forum for training
and discussion between central administrative personnel who perform the
pre-award (ORSP) and post-award (DGCA) functions for the university and
business managers and other related personnel who perform research
administration functions for departments. These meetings provide
opportunities to discuss sponsor regulations and university policies and
procedures relating to research administration with an eye towards
maintaining a culture of compliance within the university.
